Morningside / Lenox Park

Located north of Virginia-Highland, east of Ansley Park and west of Druid Hills, Morningside/Lenox Park is the combination of two historic neighborhoods.

This popular area was founded in 1931 with the majority of homes being built between 1918 and 1935. Originally, planned in the 1920s as a new type of suburb with “wide paved streets in front of the homes” and accessible by streetcar. Now, graced with beautiful homes and tree-lined streets, the historic Morningside neighborhood is an Atlanta favorite. The restored Craftsman, Four-Square and Tudor-style homes are wonderful monuments to historic Atlanta.
